The School of Intelligence and Counterintelligence “B.G. Ricardo Charry Solano” is duly registered by the National System of Higher Education Information SNIES (SNIES Code: 2901) / Supervised by the Ministry of National Education.

Therefore, in its academic work, it is governed by Law 30 of 1992, as expressly stipulated in Article 137 of the aforementioned Law. Since 1962, by decrees 2422 and 1774 of 1965, it was authorized to advance studies of “Higher Education”, being thus recognized as an OFFICIAL UNIVERSITY INSTITUTION that provides the public service of education essential for the National Army, developing its training in the field of intelligence and counterintelligence that directly impacts the security and defense tasks deployed by the Colombian State.
